I am working on a True TDD-1 Keg Refrigerator and I havent worked on anything A/C in a long time. The compressor on the unit is trying to start but it wont run I should be checking the start and run on the compressor right. It will try for s few seconds to start but then just cut off entirely.

Is there and have you checked the capacitor? It could be a cuurent relay, It could be the compressor, check everthing, step 1, step 2, step 3...ect

for "hurry up" troubleshooting of small hermetic units I would keep a 3 in 1 start kit handy, I would pull the start components and wire it on and test, it will run if it can, ( if you dont have an "annie" comressor tester

Check on the condition of the condenser. Was it covered? If so the unit overheated and set the overload off on the compressor. Check the amp draw on the unit - your compresoor is most likely locked out.
