Yea ,I tried that strategy the last time....didn't work out too well. IMO BO will be re-elected. The Takers are out-numbering the Givers and their numbers are growing daily. They will not let the free ride end without a battle.

Yeah, BHO was teh 'darling' in 2008... but not anymore. I do not think he will get a second term... rather he will go down as the worst president in modern history, taking the title from Jimmy Carter.

If the other GOP candidate had run against Harry Ried... he would be in retirement now... Sometimes compromise is better than loosing.

First ,If you give a person the right to vote for someone who is going to give you something for nothing (not really true ,but this is what they perceive this to be) VS someone who tells you that you need to work for your money with no hand-outs.....who do you think these people will vote for? BO is gonna release the oil reserves soon and become a savior to the people. He will do anything to get a second term at this moment and the polls are leaning his way.

One of the main factors that caused Obama to get elected was all the independents who wanted to get away from the GOP. Now that they see they were jumping into the fire, they will be looking for a better frying pan.

The GOP no longer reflect my views....they are too far to left for me. They are simply the New Democrats and the Old Democrats are Socialists. I won't be voting for the lesser of the evils ever again. I will be voting for someone who has the same views as I have had all of my life whether they win or not. The idea of a compromise is over. I guess I am either a Libertarian or a Tea Party Patriot! I will sleep better at night knowing I voted my mind!

Folks tend to vote their wallet... and without some good old fashioned FREE ENTERPRISE, folks will still be broke in 2012.

What we need to do is carefully educate folks as to what works and what does not work... so they understand who to vote for and WHY it is important.

Thankfully down here in GA, we do not have to register either way... they just stamp our card so we cannot vote twice in the primary.

I tried to educate the people of my state spending many hours of my time in the last election of our Governor and Senator ,Ect. I failed big time. Now my state is nothing but a money pit for the government. In other words: been there ,done that. Good that your state will allow you to vote in the primaries without being registered in one.

alot of folks feel the way you do. the democrats are basically international socialists and the republicans are basically the old liberal democrats. the only reason the tea party folks don't call themselves libertarian ,is the old mainstream propaganda of dope smoking in the classroom and homo sex in the streets. neither would happen as the libertarians believe your rights can't spill over in to your neighbors yard. once people realize they are for more freedom and less government they won't get so hung up on labels. the repubs and demos are hung up on labels. they know if people figured out what they REALLY stand for, the donkey and the elephant wouldn't mean anything.

no, THANK YOU very much! you just proved my point! a hardcore repub who repeats the same old propaganda! freedom bad, big government good...... no thanks, thats what got us here in the first place. by the way the libertarian party believes drug laws, decency laws. adoption laws etc. should be decided LOCALLY.
