    hey,

i'm just getting into the controls field and start my first job in the middle of May for a contractor. Currently i've been working as a computer programmer. The contractor knows I basically don't know anything and is willing to train me on the job (at a low wage mind you).

I'm wondering if you guys know of any good online tutorials or sources of information that I could read up to try and prepare for the job! He's going to start me on the programming side of thing and slowly get me into the installs. They use Andover controls if that makes any difference.

Any help is appreciated. Also out of curiosity what is a typical wage for a automation control tech with say 5 years experience?

It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.
