    Fuse puller?

    Do they make a large fuse puller? One for fuses the diameter of a quarter or larger? I have just used my pliers an i know this is not the best way....can screw up the tag then you may be SOL on size

    I wanted one for fuses, mostly smaller one's... the office sent me on I'm pretty sure could grab a fuse 1" in dia or larger with one end. It's about 16" long, and a major pain to use.

    Yup they do! I believe they got it from grainger.

    I always use channel locks, just turn off the disconnect and grab em from the load side not the line side. The amperes is always stamped into the copper at the end of the fuse don't worry about fudging up the label and if you need to know what size fuse to put in a disconnect, then we need to start a new thread.

    Probably the best way to do it using approved tools

    Additionally if in a plant use the necessary PPE for the job
