The control board has been a royal pain in the #$##$. Hopefully the bugs are worked out by now. They've covered everything I've replaced under warranty so they are taking care of us. Not a reason to avoid this model, since I have a dim view of most of what's being made today, but you asked. A long parts & labor warranty is a good buy regardless of unit chosen.

Loonie....... speaking of bugs.. Lady bugs..beatles whatever they are callin em this week... only one I have changed a circuit board in was soaked with water. The new units I believe even have a water deflector on top of it. Anyway this lady's A-Coil was full of lady bugs and plugged the A-Coil drain.... overflowed and dripped thru furnace, therefore soaking the circuit board... Other than that no problems. My book says 92.1 but who's counting...Trane rates their units at the lowest efficiency it will get... NOT the highest like most of them.
