One of the criteria is that the host of a convention must have attended the previous convention. We love new blood because we get to go to new places.
Come to the convention in Atlanta this year and all will become more clear. Bring your spouse, a friend, another family member or come alone. It is a weekend of fun and comraderi which is just too darned hard to explain but really easy to be comfortable with.

I can come up with the tool belt (by the way - pink is not really my color), but I am not certified to handle refrigerants
