SIRI has some risks involved with it. The pros on this stock are the core product it brings to the market along with its tie in with GMC on their mid to hi profile vehicles. This particular technology is the stages of shaking out all the competition. IMO SIRI will be their when a lot of the competition is gone. Long term out look would have SIRI being bought by a larger corporation. I would give this stock a 7 on a scale of 10.

I own 1000 shares of SIRI. I am up 3grand. I was going to sell it when it hit 9bucks a share a few months back, but I was too late.
I am going to hang onto it now.
I have also decided to invest in BYD instead of HET. I will start with 100 shares and accumulate them as I can.

it has been 40 calender days since this thread was started. let's look at the results since then.
LOOK has gone from .79 to .81 for a gain of 2.53%
INCX has gone from 8.00 to 9.24 for a gain of 15.5%
PZE has gone from 11.70 to 12.47 for a gain of 6.58%
and GOOG has gone from 215.81 to 287.23 for a gain of 33.1%
to sum up, the price of the stock has no bearing on the return.
by the way, BRK.A has gone from 82050.00 to 84300.00 for a gain of 2.74%, barely beating LOOK.

And for the last week, these stocks have been losing ground even though the Dow has gone sideways. This has become a difficult market to understand.Originally posted by billva

How about IPOs (initial public offerings)
Prven technology with sound business practices go along with this one.

This corporations headquarters is
5 miles from my house. Own 5 thousand shares bought at 4.25 a share. Literally watching my investment.

but i have thrown a little gambling money in PDLI, nice royalty stream on products already on the market.
