    Hi Gang,
I am thinking about picking up an electric soldering machine for copper tubing up to 1 1/2" and a tee puller. Are there any brands to buy or stay away from? Any places you can recommend to purchase these from would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Instead of an electric soldering machine have you thought about propress? I just purchased a Ridgid and I am very pleased with it.

tundra, I got an electric soldering gun from REMS and it works pretty good. I got the Hot Dog for the smaller pipe and they do sell a bigger model. The propress is awesome but, the unit and the fittings are very expensive. I saw a demo at the Chic. tradeshow and it was impressive.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!!

Thanks for the reply. I don't think the propress will help me solder valves and brass pex fittings etc. I am also concerned about availability locally.
