two stage furnace runs constantly
I just registered and hope this is where you can ask a question. I just had a Rheem two stage furnace installed and it seems to run too frequently.
It runs for 12-13 minutes, shuts off for 5 minutes and starts up again and runs another 12-13 minutes.
I keep the temp set at 64 and it will run even if temp is 64??
Is that the norm

It won't hurt the furnace if it ran continuously.
Run time depends on the weather and house construction. Sizing, air leakage, insulation, door opening and other factors matter a lot. The DOE says that the average waste in ductwork due to air leakage is 25 to 40%. If you don't like the fuel consumption, the first thing to address is air duct leakage."I have never let my schooling interfere with my education."

Welcome to the site,
This is just the intoduction forum, you would be better off to post questions like this in the residential hvac forum where you will get more responses and the mods won't lock the thread.
Good luck and take care..
