Hi to everyone.
I'm a retired science and computer teacher (secondary level) and have kept my old 1991 Heil limping along for years. I learned a lot about how furnaces work and am able to read and understand schematics and do troubleshooting. I've done several minor part replacements, but have now decided it's time to get into the new century.
I'm very impressed with the new high efficiency furnaces and how that efficiency is obtained. It would appear (after several hours of reading posts on this site) that initial installation and parameter setting is most important with these units. I'm looking forward to learn from this site how I can make sure the job is done right by a knowledgeable technician.
Thanks for letting me join
