No, he's a 78 year old (18 at the end of WWII) German conservative who has held a position as the head of Catholic doctrine affairs (formerly the "Inquisition") who once wrote a paper on the Supremacy of the Roman Catholic Church.
Let's see, Italians following an enigmatic German leader who believes if bias supremacy...sounds vaguely familiar.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

Did he have a small Moustache too???

No mustache, but I have read that he was in the Nazi youth group for a while. I have not verified if that is true or not.
Doesn't matter; it is a political disaster to have a German who lived during WWII being in that position. He is just too close to that situation to believe that it has had no long term affects on him. He must have had family and friends who died or worse, killed mercelicly.
This is the reason why no foreign born person can be president of the U.S., there needs to be a time buffer between any possible personal link to other convictions.
I cannot wait to hear how Jewish factions are going to respond to this. Most of the worlds Catholics were hoping for a more lenient pope, most likely one of Latin American origin. This guy truly has been the head of the Catholic Gestapo.
They are already referring to him as a "transitional" pope.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

Robo, have you studied the Jesuits during WWII?
Pretty trippy stuff they were into.
The Hell's Angels were a much tamer/ sainer group of individuals during that time period.
Let me say something here: I am not against any given people.
I believe life is precious. All life!
But certain people have chosen to believe a lie and this corrupts their thinking and their thoughts direct their actions.
Cain slew Able. Hitler slew 6 million Jews. La Mismo. (the same)
I am not against a certain religious group. Be they catholics or Jesuit preists.
It's what they hold true to value that makes someone what they are.
