ive got a goodman 3.5 ton heat pump.im thinking about installing uv lights in the plenum for mold and bacteria etc. do youall think it would be worth the cost or do the lights really work? thanks

yes. i havent tore into the unit yet, but my wife and i both have been bothered with allergies for the past couple of months. in fact she was diagnosed with pneumonia just last week. so im betting we have a mold problem.
Put a 100 UV lights in and you wont control mold until you control the humidity.

Checkout the other post on UV lights. You will start to see the light.
uv lights are good to cover up mold generated by poor humidity design and installation ... i dont use them EVER
