    Question

    Hope to be in this home another 45 years. Comfort & quiet are the most important issues for new HVAC- Home is 4000 ft. 2story + basement. What models are most comfortable & long lasting & do you recommend 2 units-one for up & one down?

    lenox, carier, trane, and rudd
    are all goo brands
    you may want to consider 4 zones and cut back on some operating costs. using the zones you need and not the ones you dont

    upgrade the envelope first to save $$$$$$$ = attic insulaiton, weatherstripping,storm windows & doors, caulking, extending downspouts out >=10ft, insulate sidewalls --
