Well I checked the Y/J site again and one for the Digital Display Manifold Gauge says 20% of reading and
the Super Evac LCD now says +/- 20%

That's how a micron gauge works.....the rate at which 'the medium' allows the heat to be removed from the element is dependent on the number of gas molecules transporting that heat away by vibrating molecular motion....if it's in a HOT atmosphere.....you're screwed...for accuracy......
Geeeze....20% accuracy.......wow....didn't they go all out...?"The quality you deserve is not expensive---it's priceless"

It's a helluva looking product and I have one on the way.....only one regret ..... that I didn't build it but they are a very principled group and 'get it' as to what we techs need......the decay rate and bargraph is gorgeous AND really innovative engineering.....
I'll let you know but MITTS on the other site sent me review today and said it's SOOOOOO sensitive you can see every 'sweep' of the vacuum pump !!!!
Here's his email to me "FWIW the Micron Gauge ROCKS It reads so fast its like you are reading pressure directly. I was watching the vanes turn in my cold pump Whoa!!! Very stable reading when I changed temperature on the sensor also. Impressive design from AccuTools IMO"

the drop test was only from 18 ft. &about 6 ft. out into the dirt test so that may not count. on the bucket test we used shipping tape over the obvious
openings on the back side of the 1250 & only because i dont know where
those openings go. also left the sensors connected after checking to make
sure the connector was secure.
have to take them back to weights & measures again to re certify accuracy tuesday & have no doubt that they will fo thru as easy as before.
for a special job for a real pia account.
