Got to give him alot of credit for always looking out for the end user instead of just taking the quick profit.

Doug, you are a man of integrity and for my part I thank you for that.
    Yes.

I've been doing some beta testing for Doug on the AK-900 DRSA.

As I understand it, I'm also in line to test the Next Big Thing (wireless).

I'm just not privy to all that is going on at Digicool's R&D dept.

Yeah, I'll stick with brass, too.
it is not the same design just an alum. block mani. with ball valves.
very light weight & solidly built.

I've posted pictures of the unit in use.

It does exist, but, like all things, Doug will not release anything until it is completely ready.

I picked up on a couple of issues with the beta unit and, I'm sure that other testers had issues, too.

Nothing comes out perfectly the first time, and this DRSA is no exception.

    Missed this post.

That changes my attitude. An aluminum block manifold would be fine, but I think aluminum in the paradigm configuration wouldn't work.

Guess I'll be buying one of each.....

im using the alum. mastercool with 4 port ball valves at this time
but they are too heavy & appear to be leaking past the ball valves.
im in line for the brass manifold & when it is released you can rest assured it will be perfect. he has new product he is working on that will blow your mind away.

At that price and with Digi-Cools reliability in producing quality instruments that can also compete with Testo and others on price. That is a true winner for Doug and all of us in the in the industry!!

    So the 1250 goes away?

I was under the impression the AK900 was in addition to the 1250.

This is my understanding as well.

The 1200/1250 are the workhorses and I wouldn't plan on seeing them go anywhere anything soon.

Thanks for all the feedback. I wish he would hurry up, I have money burning a hole in my pocket. Any way to pre-order?

Also got to meet Doug at the Vegas show, and he is a really cool guy.

He's putting a lot of his own money and time into this product, and he'll come out with a great product when its ready. Also I really look forward to the iOS hook up!
