Wondering if anyone on the board may be from the Western Mass area. I'm looking to leave the company I am at. I've been doing install AND service for three years now and the burden of carrying the responsibility of 2 departments is starting to wear on me.

Why dont you talk it over with your boss?

Maybe you can work it out so it's good for the both of you.

Leaving a position is not always the best thing to do. Look for options.

Brainstorm with your supervisor. If your good and they are reliable/ responsible/ sensible ... they will seek for ways to make it work and keep you on.
Atrition in not something a good company embraces.

I've talked with them repeatedly. They are a plumbing company, and I feel they don't really care about the heating and air conditioning side of the business. The crew of HVAC guys is getting smaller every week, and their replacements are jokes. We are down to 3 installers, 2 service techs, and 1 tin knocker. Things seem to have gone from bad to worse. I have too much pride in my work to let it suffer. I just think it's time for a change.
