Thread: Brazing Vs Soldering

It appears the HVAC professionals braze their connections. Is the reason for brazing and not soldering a copper to copper connection the higher operating temperature the joint can withstand or is it due the the different filler material used?

pressure requires strength, brazing is a stronger joint by far, solder (silver) is fine too, but most everyone agrees that joints close to the compressor, or other sources of vibration should be brazed always.
Still learning opinions welcome.
