Thread: Hot Shot???

    Never heard of it. Any info appreciated. We have used 414B with good success as a drop in for R12. Only heard of hot shot on this site. Did a web search and nothing came up (well some unwanted porn but nothing on refrig).

    There are some pretty strong opinions here about Icor products.

    Do a search here on Hotshot and OneShot or NU-22

    I think you will find what you are looking for.

    Better than sliced bread

    Hot shot is the best thing that has come down the pike since they outlawed R12. Have used it for a few years on R12 systems and have never had a problem of any kind with refrigeration equipment using Hot shot.Can be used with
    compressor that have mineral oil in them. It's better than sliced bread.

    hot shot is ok at best.....416a is the trick on most 12 replacments. Hot shot runs higher head....ect....ect

    dont use in Ice mach's....well unless you want problems

    I sent off for the free info DVD from Icor on HotShor, OneShot, Nu-22...thought it would have more tech data...but only promotional and testimonials..don't know about oneShot...lots of "They Say" information
