    Question

    does any one have any info on this type lift? the older type with the boom two legs seat wheels. any info?
    old friend said was very useful does anyone have a picture of this type lift?

    We actually have one, a guy down the street from our shop father patented and designed them.

    Very useful but also very dangerous at the same time.

    The contraption would be a lot more safe if it had an attachment for a counter weight. As is, the heaviest man on the job is the counter weight. Not a fun position to be in when you have to lift a 5 ton condensing unit. Some guys refuse to use it. I really can't blame them. Ive been in the death chair a few times myself, it aint fun, but "whatever it takes" is usually my motto.

    Slim, I can try to get a pic of one, but they havent been made in a long time

    I know of several people that got hurt on them including me, unless you can find a used one thats about the only shot you have, I will help in any way I can though
