    Hey Payson AZ ...

i know you have a few million of these Goettl's in your nieghborhood. See the sheetmetal frame in this picture. It's some sort of pre cooler, was that a Goettl option or did someone else mfg it and are they still in buisness. This one needs the pads... I will be installing a new Astro Series 13 seer Goettl thsi week and homewoner wants to keep this pre cooler...

Is it possible to convince the homeowner that a new 13 SEER unit will work so much better without that precooler than the old Goettl did with the wet pads?

Payson usually hangs out in WOS...don't know if he ever lurks Residential. You may want to reply to one of his threads there.

Selling HO the new 13 seer Astro series, but Mr.HO is correct in 115° temprtures which is not uncomon here it will keep the efficencies up. Pretty simple design if parts are available.

New Goettl cranes on pretty quick, the precooler is as you can see just attached to the side of the unit.

Only chagne in the new 13 seer is they are taller, the 90° elbox gets replaced.
