Hi,
I am adding a new 12 seer 2 ton packaged system to a home and installing a NEW return air filter.
I am making a 24"x24" by 6" deep filter slot and plan to run a merv 14 pleated filter.
is this overkill???
what brand of filter would you suggest.
thks

diddly Yes this sounds like over kill. What is the resistance of this filter? Have you looked at the space guard.

Go with a MERV 11 from Abatement. Go to http://www.heritageheatingandcooling.com for the link. This is about the most you need. Actually an awesome set up for the money.Originally posted by diddlywhoot
