It is the base model 80% non-condensing furnace for Carrier. No bells and whistles with the STA. The DLA (deluxe) single stage will provide a few more options. But if this is your house and you can afford the extra $$$, I'd try going for the the 58CTA (two-stage furnace) or the 58CVA (two-stage & variable speed).

Also, I installed a 58CVA in my house a couple years ago and love it. I have had no problems whatsoever. The variable speed blower (vs a PSC motor) will cut electricity costs a little bit if you run continuous fan and is quieter during operation.

The 58cva is a much quieter, comfortable furnace for your home (2 stage gas valve and variable speed fan).
It's NOT the BRAND,it's the company that installs it!!!!!

It's not for a home. It is to be installed in an attic and serve a office area.

If ducts in ceiling 58cva will help that cooler feeling toward the floor because it has longer run times due to ramp up feature. Also less fan noise. But both good small in size furnaces.
