    Talking

Went all day today to a 'seminar' type thing where we went over everything.

I'm horrible with names, but the guy over it is one of the originators of NATE.

Glad we had the overview, I learned a few things and got refreshed on things long forgotten.

I'm glad we're getting tested like this, it gives me an excuse to dust off those brain cells that I've been storing away hehe. I realize now that if we weren't going to do the NATE testing, there would have been no reason for me to 'brush up on forgoten knowledge'.
Over the years, my book sense has been converted into 'what I need to know' sense.

Anyhow... I'm looking forward to the test tomorrow.

    Good luck.

Don't get frustrated when you see the same question, worded differently.

Just answer it & move on.

    You'll do fine.

I'm still waiting for my NATE results, but I'm not sweating it. Studying beforehand makes all the difference.

You're probably at the test right now but I'll go ahead and say this anyway. You'll probably do fine, since you took the time to study. Even if you think you know it all, studying never hurts at all.

    Best wishes.

    Test is over.

Now I wait for the test results.

I took the Core and Gas Heat.
I'll do Heat Pump and Air Distribution next time I think.
They were only doing the Core and Gas Heat at this one today.

I'm sure I passed both of em.

I tried to coordinate a test time and the buck was passed twice and I still haven't heard back from these bozos yet and it's been 2 weeks.
I'm convinced now that it's really not worth my time.

NATE has a skeleton staff. It's their travel and training time of the year with various meetings across the country. They'll get to you.

It takes at a minimum 2 weeks to get the results to NATE from VGI (the test grading company). Then, it's another week to get the results to you. I always tell guys 4 to 6 weeks. If you get them in two weeks, then it's even better.
