    Question

WE are working on a SUNBEAM GLA-150 FURNACE. WE ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT THE APPOX. AGE OF THIS FURNACE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN SUNBEAM HAD FURNACES LABEL WITH THERE NAME?? IT HAS SERIES E1 AND 413-KX42 BUT THESE NUMBER ARE NOT LABELED AS SERIAL NUMBERS.

The only thing that comes up on a search on that model # shows it as a Heil 1971. Check the tag, se if it was made by Heil-Quaker. Hope this helps

    Couple things come to mind:

In the 80s, John Zink commercial rooftop units had the name Sunbeam on them but don't think they made anything but packaged units, no split stuff.

In the really old days, 40s/50s maybe, American-Standard used the Sunbeam name on some boilers. Could have on forced air too I suppose. Got a picture of it?
