With what I'm hearing R22 will be around for sometime but the price will rise making some of us to forget about it and move on, when should we begin to stock up on it?

that's like saying carrier is going to bring prices on 13 seer models down to 10 prices, once the law takes effect.

    don't think so.
Good point. I agree with you. Hopefully R410a will at least moderate somewhat for the sake of the end-user. OUR customers.

R22 prices are good and low right now stock up. I do
not think 22 prices will go up anytime soon, at
    least not much.

R410 prices are moderately high, and may hold. But
they also may go up, who knows. Heck look at
134a which is a enviromental refigerant. A year
ago price was low. Right now 134a is six times
higher than a year ago, and still increasing.

Plus 134a is hard to get, everyone is on allocations.

    So you never know.
