O.D.
Can someone tell me if ACR copper pipe is refered to by the I.D or the O.D. I hear conflicting answers depending on which supply house I go to.I was told Air conditioning pipe is measured by th O.D and plumbers use I.D.
O.D.
AC&R Copper Tubing is measured by O.D., Plumbing Copper Tubing is measured by I.D. and is cheaper due to its not being dehydrated or charged to prevent contamination.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (President Theodore Roosevelt)
Thank you very much!
That will finally put that to rest!
Micky, don't rest yet, here's some more info.
AC&R copper pipe and tubing are measured by Outside Diameter.
Plumbing copper tubing is measured by Outside Diameter also.
Plumbing copper pipe is measured by Inside Diameter.
Talking about copper tubing, does any know where to purchase metric copper tubing and fittings? I’m looking for some 10mm OD and 6mm OD stuff.
