Get a Honeywell VisionPro 8000 series and be done with it.
Even the Honeywell "Vision" (a stripped VisionPro) sold at Lowes is a better stat than a Hunter any day."In this house we obey the laws of thermodynamics!"

What did you do to get the heat back on?
Replaced the stat.
Hey I just put that on a couple yrs ago.

Every household should have a hunter thermostat. I recomend them. Its good job security.

Still no answer as to why they are junk.
Been using one for 7 years now. With no problems.
What can one expect to go wrong with one?

my experience with them is that if there is a heat problem and the stat is a hunter, that is the problem. power stealing properties possibly? never had a problem in a/c though
as to going wrong, the intermittantly call for heat
