hi friends
according my information to find surface area we can used this equation :
Q=U*A*LMTD
so after use this equation to find A .
now my question is what is the equation i must use to calculate transverse area to find required diameter, length and no. of rows according surface area (A) .
i read this book (standard handbook for engineering calculation )
and i get equation to find diameter length and no. of rows according surface area (A) for steam servise . but i am not find the equation using refrigerant or chilled water as cooling medium
really i need your help thanks for your help in advance

Gladstone,
You are a bit early. April 1st is a week from this Friday. If you'd really like to know who to use that equation , please check out "Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer" by Incropera and De Witt. Any similar text will do. Alternatively, the ASHRAE Handbooks would do the job, I think. Maybe there wasn't really a question in the first place.......Mark Adams
