My manual for a Bard Split Heat Pump unit says to Oil the blower motors twice a year with 8-10 drops of 20 weight motor oil.
I cannot locate an access hole to do this on the inside motor in particular.
This is an older unit 1979 vintage.
Model 48HPQ2 / B48EHQ with a 1/2 HP motor.
Any help would be appreciated.

the only way to get to the port is pull the blower out so you can see it and reach it

I might be wrong but I remember hearing at a seminar that if a motor with oil ports hasn't been oiled in many years you could shorten it's life by now oiling it. It's soon to be dead anyway if its over 20 yrs old. Heat is the worst enemy of an electric motor.

Is the motor the original oem part? If it has ever been replaced the replacement motor may not have oil ports.
