    Question

question - i've been reading in the forum that the contractor makes the difference, and not necessarily the unit. any help with getting a great contractor in raleigh to do a repair and/or replace heat pump or air handler? how do i know if they're good or not?

Yes the contractor is important, then again so is the equipment. Poor selection on either will result in poor performance and problems.

A poor installation can drag a nice piece of equipment down. A good installation on a low end unit will give you the performance you paid for. A good installation on a good peice of equipment will give you good performance AND years of comfort without issue.

I agree, Yellow Dot should be a good choice. They've been doing this for many years and they won't be gone tomorrow should a problem arise.

I would highly suggest ARS in Raleigh. They have great Project Managers and will do the job right. They are a nationwide company that will ensure great customer satisfaction. Phone # is 828-5147

ARS? Yeah, right. If I were a HO I would much rather install my own system.

Go with Yellow Dot - they're light years above ARS.
