Alerton 2meg Apex for sale

I have an Alerton 2meg Apex, in perfect working condition for sale. It recently came out of a building being converted to another control system.
Will accept a reasonable offer. Be advised the list price on these now is over $38,000. This is a good oppertunity to get a spare cheap!

I won't comment on putting pricing directly on this board- that's not my department and since you're selling it and unable to post it in the proper forum they might grant you some leeway.

But have you looked at where you put the comma and the decimal place? It would appear that you have typed a value you did not mean to type.

A quick scan of the net shows them selling for less than a tenth of the number you posted...

I didnt think putting the suggest retail list price was an issue.
The comma is in the correct place. The controllers are no longer produced and depending on the issue may not be able to be repaired, if sent back to Alerton. I know a few people who have bought new ones and have actually paid eight and ten thousand. Not too long ago they sold for four. Its kinda like R-12, the price will sky rocket, then plunge when most have converted over.

You cant compare a apex to R-12.

BTW , thats a pretty sucky deal when you can get a BCM-TUX which replaces the apex, has 32MB of storage for less then $3K, Programming and intergration would probably double that, IF the company who sold,and programs it doesnt know what they are doing, unfortunatly not alot of companies out there now have a lot of experience with IBEX, so you pay for the learning curve.
