I need to choose a programmable t/stat with 2 stages of heat and at least 1 stage of cooling. It will be used with 2 stage gas furnace and a regular a/c.
Important features are: reliability, ease of programming, look and price of course. I found quite a few models at this site. http://www.white-rodgers.com/homeown...fo_list_ms.htm
Which one do you prefer? Could be any manufacture.

Thanks in advance for the help,

I would recommend the new Honeywell Vision Pro series, our company likes to promote only thermostats that offer the features you are looking for. The Vision pro I believe offers 3 versions 1) 1heat/1cool,3heat/2cool and 3heat/2cool with humidity control. They have battery back up feature that in most cases does not require a independent "common" terminal (you don't have to run new wires), they also have daylight savings feature that most programable stats do not feature. Best of all is the cool touch screen and easy programming. Our customers love them, we have installed aprx. 50 with no problems to date.
