This furnace was installed new in November, 2003. It is a basement install, vertical/upflow. It worked great all through the first heating and cooling season.

At startup for the heating season last fall it started leaking water at the flue collector gasket. The tech tightened the screws on the collector and no more problem.

This morning I went down in the basement and the floor was wet again. I checked the collector was leaking in the lower right hand corner. The screws were loose again after just a few months. The screws are not stripped and tighten down easily with a nut driver. How can I keep them tight? Is loctite a suitable product for this application?

Other than this minor problem I've been very happy with my Goodman furnace.
