what would be the cheaper of the two to operate gas or wood stove in my rec room,wood cost $50 a cord, gas costs 47 cents a cubic meter, not including purchase and install costs.Gas stove is 35000 btu;s. thanks for any answers and opinions.

Go with the wood stove,a wood stove will give your rec room a home feeling,plus sometimes you can find wood for free or ask to cut it off someone land.Originally posted by hemitom

50 dollars for a cord? Wow that is cheap. I pay 80 dollars a cord, delivered and stacked.
Karst means cave. So, I search for caves.
