Thread: static pressure

    They finished installing 3 ton infinity system today.
    Could someone tell me good static reading on infinity controller at low and high speeds.
    Also how do I check static on infinity controller?
    I think I saw .25 today when they where testing system with electronic filters installed at return wall grills.(2) 12x24 return grills

    I wouldnt want my customers messing with the controls beyond what the home owners user guide says! Maybe call who ever is standing behind that system, (as in the one that will cover the warranty) and ask them to get ya into them readings.

    I shoot for a .5 static on high speed!

    Where are they measuring it at is it a diff pres across the blower or mountd somewhere in the duct?

    The Infinity uses the latest GE VS motor,version 2.5,and Carriers controls,read rpm and torque,to determine the total ESP.We have checked a lot of them,it's very accurate.
