replacing a unit,can I put in the same size unit I'm replacing and line sets?

It would be helpful to do a load calc. to see what size you need. Also a higher seer may be in order depending on where you live.

Yea, but you should have the houses load checked to see if thats the size you really need.
Have you added any insulation, or upgraded any windows or doors.
If so, you may be able to use a smaller sized unit and save money.
