An inspiration to his students, fellow teachers, and the community. A 3-time cancer survivor who taught almost right through his sickness. He reached out to contractors for help and got it. He fought for funding for the new High school Vo-tech Center which is in the last stage of design and soon to be built. The kids he taught left with not just technical skills but an appreciation for hard work.
He was killed yesterday on his way home from school when a car ran a stop sign. He will be missed.
I truely hope the powers that be will see the obvious name for this new Vo-Tech Center.
