    It's a Name

I always liked WeBe A/C and Refrigeration (But no Heat)

There is actually a company in my area called "Midnight Controls Services" and yes, he's doing pretty well.

Personally I think I'd have to go with:

    Totally Inivative Technical Services

The geographical area idea is the best,IMHO.

I choose Bay Area A/C,we are near the Tampa "Bay Area",all the newspapers and newscast, radio, etc.,talk aboubt the "Bay Area",daily. This made the name sound familar to prospects, plus many other types of businesses had it in their name.

When I started as a one man shop, customers would tell me they saw and heard my TV and Radio ads,of course I had none, but other businesses ,named Bay Area ------,did.

When I first started we were Bennington Refrigeration Inc.

Then we got into more and more air conditioning so we kept the same logo and letter font. But changed the name to Bennington Cooling & Heating. Plus we put a tag line on the advertising and trucks- "Specializing in Refrigeraion"

Then last year, since it was our 25th, we added "Specializing in Refrigeration since 1979"

I still put the fancy foil "45th Anniversary" 1957-2002 stickers on all bids, letters, etc. and will continue to till 2006 when I will begin using the "50th Anniversary 1957-2007" stickers! I like um, what can I say?????

    Intelligence?

If you went with this name people might wonder about your intelligence... did you mean "Totally Innovative Technical Services"???

Excuse my spelling. As for my intelligence, my handle is WeBe A/C. You make up ypur own mind. I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself.

Enviromental Control Specialists kinda covers to entire relm of what we do and would make a good name. I also saw a thread that commented about how we do not get the respect as, say, plumbers and electricaians.

I like to refer to myself as an enviromental controller but most of the public can't or do not understand the title and still do not know what I do/don't do.
