$8, to $10. to start out in most cases but in chicago area you may get more do you have tools & a EPA card? When you go in just let them know who & what you are about as for been really nervous all they can do is tell you is no the interview is about you not them so in the interview you most step up & just let it go.Good luck.Originally posted by coolingkid

Hey, kid.
Actually I was answering the question you asked.
Go in with a eyes wide open, and a confident smile.
You have just finished a comprehensive field of study.
(Now the real learning begins.)
Make sure you leave the jewelry at home.
Dress for the position you are interviewing for.
If you've got tattoos, keep 'em covered.
Get an employable haircut.
The questions will vary.
Here's a link.

Good luck.

Will you show up on time?Do you work hard?Do you get along with others?Do you do drugs or drink or smoke? Can you drive a big van?Do you have a epa card?Do you have tools? How many hour can you work a week? They may ask you some hvac questions but if you don't know just say I don't know you will be a helper at first so you don't have to know much.Ask to work with the best installer they have that way you can be a good installer some day liston to him at all timeS get on his good side he will be the one that gives you a raise your boss will ask him first. If he goes in the supply house then you go don't set in the van if he goes under a house then you go to.Don't ever sleep on the job ever that will show a sign of weakness It will come back to bite you in the @ss.GOOD LUCK!

For entry level they probably will not be asking too many technical questions. Besides you either know it or you don’t stressing out wont help. As far as the rest goes there is no need to try to prep just be honest. Be clean and neat take note pad and pen if they offer you a job there may be info you want to write down. And you are interviewing them you have the right to ask questions also, what is important to you in a job? Write your questions down it shows you are prepared and actually care about the job. One more thing if you’re early, you’re on time if you’re on time your late leave in enough time to be 15 to 30 min early.
