Slow cooker favorites?
Scored a slow cooker for Christmas, I've been wanting one for a little while now, but that's one of those things I'd never buy myself.
I'm not a huge fan of complex meals, I like simple and easy one's the most. I also kind of like having left overs for a day or 2 also, that's less I have to cook! lol
So what are some good meals you guys throw together in one of these beasts?

My sister gave me one years ago (when I was single). It came with a recipe book. I used to make chili, beef stew ( with sirloin tips, not stew meat- the tips were better tasting), ribs, french onion soup, etc.. I would follow the recipes but would always modify them according to my particular taste.
Here's one that sounds horrible but really is pretty good.
Toss smoked sausage (keilbasa in these parts) into the cooker with equal parts grape jelly and ketchup.
Trust me, it is a LOT better than it sounds.
Kielbasa in grape jelly and maple syrup.

Pork Loin rubbed with sage, don't add any water. Cook 8-10 hrs on low. Usually cook potatoes and another veggie for it on stove. Pork almost cuts itself. Then I pull left over pork and make bar-b-que with it.
I like pork loin rubbed with taco seasonings. Wrap the loin in foil, then put it in the crock and add just a small amount of water for steam. 6-8 hours. Have flour tortillas and fixings you like on the side when pork is done. I like just onions, my homemade salsa and fresh cilantro. Be creative for your crock can cook alot of good meals!

Butterflied pork chops stuffed with dressing and cooked in cream of mushroom soup.
i cokk anything in it. if i am not grilling i am using the slow cooker. i have 4 of them and that,s only because i just gave 1 away. i am using it today for a pork roast. it's so easy. just throw in what you want and when you get home it's waiting for you. a good simple recipe is boneless chicken breast and cream of mushroom soup. simple yet good.
