    Can you use 75% Argon 25% Co2 to purge ref lines while silver brazing? This is the gas that mig welders use.

    Co2 is a higher cost then nitrogen,
    Why use it, if it cost more ?

    You don't need the high pressure gas,
    If you try to fail, and succeed.
    Which have you done ?

    Yes, you can use it, but nitrogen is cheaper.

    I am not using it. I saw a vet. HVAC serviceman using
    it and was wondering if it would put moister in the syst
    em.

    wouldn't the oxygen in co2 cause oxidation you are trying to eliminate with the nitrogen?
