there is not the close combat like we used to have and luckily we don't have the casualty losses we used to have.

the M16 is a much better rifle for todays conflicts, you can carry 3 times the ammo in 5.56 as a 7.62 for the same weight, and untile the range gets extreme, thereis no advantage to using an 06.
