I'm not sure what model that was,

I have a Lennox Innovator furnace that is not firing and I am looking for suggestions as to how to remedy the problem? The pilot is lit, and it sounds like the furnace tries to kick on but it never does. Any suggestions on what I should do?
If it is a matter of cleaning a sensor, do I need a licensed serviceman to do this or is it simple enough that I could do it.

But it sounds like you should make a call.
If you try to fail, and succeed.
Which have you done ?
A sensor senses something (flame) and if no flame it can not do it's job. Read the manual if you have one, when you get to the part about calling a service technician, pick up the phone and make the call. You are in over your head.
Innovator covered a large line of equipment. Innovator was changed to "Signature Series". It denotes top of the line equipment. I doubt very seriously there is a pilot in that furnace. Model number is the only way to identify it. Sounds like it's time to make that call.
