    Steve, actually all kidding aside...

My biggest hero was/is a 13 year old girl (now 15) lost her leg to cancer. A severe sports freak, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball. A sweetheart that everyone thought would disolve into self pity. But was the true version of human magic and strength... she kept her school of friends strong by being strong. A year and a half of Chemo- sick and yet smiled. Indifferent to the pain and the emotional gak a 13 year old girl would have to face with one leg and no hair on her head.

My partner's daughter's best friend.... Jolan Brunner.

I wish every parent could spend a day with her... they'd learn much.

Teach the apprentices right... and learn from their questions and ideas.

Don't know who said it first, but my all time favorite 'parenthood' montra :

To the world, you are one person.
To one person, you are the world.
    Everyone knows something I don't.

    2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
