Someone posted on here awhile back something that works. He said to chew your food EXTREMELY well. One little bit of pizza you should chew 12-20 times. The theroy is that saliva is a natural antacid. Chewing will produce saliva.
I was always a scraffer so I tried this approach and it really does work.
Doctors and me don't get along. So I am not on any medicine. If I do get heartburn then I put a 1/4 teaspoon of arm & hammer baking soda in a half of a glass of water and drink that down.
