How can I determine, from looking at my condensors, what the SEER rating is?
They are made by Comfortmaker.
Depends...
If you kow the serial number or at least the age you can make a guess. Then it depends on what indoor unit it is matched with. Odds are its a 10 SEER if its 14 years old or less.
It is new, just installed. I believe the serial number is printed on the side of the unit with other information, but not the SEER. I just want to make sure that I got the 12 SEER unit I paid for. After the install the only literature I received was the install manual.
What's the model #?
You need the outdoor unit model number and the indoor unit and or coil model number. Outside of that if you just want to know the outdors inteded seer, look at the yellow energy guide, it shouldnt have been removed by the dealer. If you didnt have the indoor unit changed, then your guess is as good as ours as to what its rated or not rated as.

The yellow energy guide was removed by the contractor. That is why I want to verify what I received.
The Model is:
Soft Sound 1200+
CAC224AKA5
The indoor unit is an ADP hydro-air unit. Should I be looking for its SEER as well.
I found the info on Confortmaker's website, it is a 12 SEER. Thanks for your help!
