Here's a question, who is responsible for what happens to two gay soldiers when caught in an uncomprimising position by a group of marines? The marines or the Politicians?

I do not know about your army but ours does not allow inappropriate relations.

The Canadian Forces - the joint name for its army, air force and navy - forbid intimate relations between soldiers serving on overseas missions. An inappropriate relationship as per Canadian Forces (CF) rules could be “an emotional, romantic, sexual or family relationship, including marriage or a common-law partnership or civil union, between two CF members, or a CF member and a DND employee or contractor, or a member of an allied force.”
    Guess that would include gays.

So it hasn't happened in the Canadian Forces?
To most men, walking in on a man and woman would be a little different than walking in on a man man thing.

Just call it "must ask, must tell" And apply it to their record. They are already clearly marked.

This is an interesting discussion, I wonder if anyone on here has issues with women in the military? My wife is in the Army, has been for 8 years and she loves it. She calls it her second family. Every one of them would lay down their life for her, I wonder if that would happen if she were gay?

Sure it would be a little different for most of us. But it is not like either will harm us if we did.

I think the situation would be a little different if this were to happen in the Military in a far off land, than say a gov't office building Printer.

So if it were a male and a female soldier that got interrupted behind a bush would be different than if it were two males?

If you were to ask me that question, I would say, you bet your boots it would be different for me. If I saw/interrupted two males going at it, I would probably have to be committed, of course after I shot them first.

Dave no offense but I have to disagree as far as having women in combat or combat support units. I have stated my position on this link on another thread. Thank you, thank you very much

Oh I forgot, you are not the 'turn the other cheek' type.
