    Hello all,
I am a facilities specialist and need help preparing for a basics of HVAC presentation Im giving to my co workers. Can anyone refer me to simple easy to understand intro/basics material I can use to prepare? Maybe there's an HVAC for dummies guide somewhere out there. That would be very helpful. So far all I have found are seminars and classes which I dont have time to take.
Thank you all for any and all help you can provide!

Nothing could replace years of experience,Its a very wide trade ,If you want to talk about heating ,there are some good books about the subjet, the same apply to refrigeration and ventilation. its not an easy trade to master ,I' the living proof, 12 years later still don't know what I'm doing!!

Apparently there is a "HVAC For Dummies" book out now but you won't find any guys on here endorsing it. This link was listed in another thread and has some pretty good basic information.

I'm assuming that this presentation is going to be geared toward the type of equipment in your facility, I would start there by getting the books and manuals pertaining to that equipment and the proper maintenance for it but other than going over the maintenance procedures if you know nothing about HVAC it is not going to be a very successful presentation. And it doesn't sound like you have a lot of time to repair, If you have some type of budget to work with you should consult the service company that your company uses and they will do the presentation for you.

I was being facetious. There is no such book.
