I read in Warranty Week that the average manufacturer spends about 1.9% of their sales on warranty claims. What are the most common defects in the field for air conditioners?
The company I work for makes testing equipment for HVAC manufacturing plants, and it would be great to get some feedback from in-the-field installers as to issues that we should help manufacturers correct.

We don't use test equipment. Changing parts is a lot easier.
