was wandering the age of furnace rheem model # RGLA-170-JR....have serial number too....thanx in advance for any replies,mo-flo.

You need to post the serial number
to determine the actual manufacturing date
of Rheem equipment

there are 3 sets of #'s to this furnace.......hate to post it on net,know what i mean?looked at this one last knight....it is standing pilot and natural draft..

would 88 be a possibility??...i have those 2 #'s in the second set...

It should be the 2nd or the 3rd set of numbers that show the serial nr. they should be preceded by a letter and then there would be 3 nrs..
example F388 is a 88 furnace
The RGLA model was made from 1983 to 1991 and had a 10 year heat exchanger warranty.
